I had a really good and satisfying meal here. My fried chicken was tasty and so was the cheese waffle. I really enjoyed the two sauces that came with the dish. My partner also enjoyed the steak and eggs he got. Everything was gluten free. This is a very good spot for GF food and also, the restaurant is located inside the Chelsea Market so great area! The service was also very friendly and nice. Highly recommended.

An amazing place for breakfast. This gluten-free restaurant offers a beautiful selection of delicious food. Though I, personally, do not need to eat gluten-free, I always appreciate a restaurant that prepares incredible gluten-free food. I have many friends that eat gluten-free either due to intolerance or celiac disease. Also, as a gastroenterologist, I love the fact that my celiac disease patients have more and more great options for good gluten-free food. In addition to amazing food, the service was top-notch. Sammy, our server was an absolute delight.

Ended up at Chelsea Market for a few hours and was craving a pastrami sandwich so gave Friedman’s a try and it was a very solid restaurant. The pastrami sandwich was tasty and above average…but the tomato soup was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and warm. Will definitely stop in again. Recommend..

The crab cakes Benedict, BLAT, and chiliquilies were some of the best I’ve had and the attentive and warm service only enhanced the experience. Our water glasses were never empty and we appreciated how great the servers were with the kids. Fantastic food and even better service!! Highly recommended.

I love coming here. I really appreciate how quick the service is, how beautifully the dishes are presented, and the consistency—they always nail the flavor, the plating, and the portions. I also feel the prices are very fair, and the service is always prompt and attentive. Everything here just makes sense—the food, the vibe, the overall experience. It’s also super convenient. I stayed at the Dream Downtown nearby, and this was my second visit. Once I find a spot I love, I rarely switch, even with tons of options around, like in Chelsea Market. This time I ordered the Nova Bennedicts, and I loved that they serve it over hash browns instead of the usual English muffin—such a great twist. I also had the Reuben, which was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the team, and I can’t wait to be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and dining experience at Friedman’s. Uma and the staff were incredibly hospitable and provided some of the most exceptional service we have experienced. The crab cake benny , shakshuka, chilaquiles, and BLAT sandwich, and French toast were highlights! We will be back!
